    I used to read and review 50-60 books a year. The last few years I basically could only get through five books at most per year. And it was a huge struggle. Was finally diagnosed with Long Covid last year and now recently diagnosed with ADHD. It makes sense why I’ve had a hard time reading.

    In an effort to start reading again I NEED something that will suck me in and help me get my love of reading back.

    Love very twisty, scary, tense books that are not gross, more modern, atmospheric, involve more real life horror and bonus points if it involves cabins, woods, storms.

    Some books I read and liked prior to forgetting how to read:

    * The Clinic- Kate Quinn
    * Intensity- Dean Koontz
    * Stolen Tongues- Felix Blackwell (although I recall the ending being not as good as the first half).
    * Hidden Pictures- Jason Rekulak
    * The Butterfly Garden- Dot Hutchison (I’ve read this like five times).
    * The Last House On Needless Street- Catriona Ward
    * Hunted- Darcy Coates
    * Penpal – name is escaping me
    * Riley Sager’s first two books
    * The Wife Between Us, Gone Girl type stuff

    I have close to 700 books in my Goodreads want to read queue…but deciding what will be the best to get my love of reading back has been not fun.
