I’m aware that the movie adaptation starring Will Smith is vastly different. My assumption is that both the book and movie probably have only the title in common, not unlike World War Z . So I eventually got around reading the source material and I did not expect that >!the MC is sexually frustrated, from the fact he’s apparently the sole human left, and must fight the urge not to fall for the seduction of the vampiric women. Kinda out-of-left-field and that’s just the impression I get from the first chapter but is this gonna be the whole point of this book moving forward? !<
