I like to read broadly and try out new genres. Romance is one I haven’t read a lot of. I don’t want fantasy (I’ve read a lot lately and I’m a little burnt out). I hate hate hate the miscommunication trope. I’m not a fan of sex scenes, it’s okay if there’s a little bit heavy spice is not for me. Ideally not YA but if it’s super well done I’ll read it. Maybe something kinda cozy/slice of life?
I liked Happiness for Beginners by Katherine Center
I didn’t care for Every Summer After by Carley Fortune
And those are really the only romance books I’ve read.
