I’ve always been interested in British royal history, but I guess I’ve consumed a lot more that has focused on much more modern royal history… such as Queen Victoria and those who came after her. With of course some knowledge of the Tudors.
But I want to go further back. Much further back. Can any of you recommend me some history books that focus on the very beginnings of the British empire and the first kings and queens?
I love to listen to nonfiction audiobooks when I take my dog on daily walks, so if you specifically have audiobook recommendations, bonus points for that.
