I saw this raved about on BookTok and various FB groups, so I went ahead and got it. The first few chapters reeled me in. The house, the bitchy mother, the backstory of her grandmother. Now I’m about halfway through and for me, the constant switching between the Shadow, the Manipulator and Gigi is starting to get to me and the plot is starting to drag a bit. Does it pick up and get better in the second half?
