Ok, so a friend recommended this book to me called Kill All The Dogs by a new writer, Rick Berry (sorry about this dude!)
My friend knows I’m a dog-lover but he assured me the title is not really what it seems to be, and its about politics and it’s basically a metaphor. I admit I started reading it and thought the writing in the first couple of pages was funny, but I just can’t seem to get past the title being something that makes me uncomfortable. Whatever the book ends up like, I just don’t see myself thinking I like it. I sometimes stare at the covers of books I’ve read and just get a good feeling.
Am I being stupid? Are there other books that are good that have bad titles?
