i’m open to a lot, but here are some particular genres i’d like to see
• sci-fi: mostly utopia/dystopia but not really space-y or apocalyptic
• romance (hetero or lesbian): here i’d want something dramatic and tragic that would make me cry. on the other hand, erotica is fine, kinky and bdsm is fine but i hate the exaggerated “dark romance” where there’s like guns going in places they shouldn’t be that i see on tiktok 😭 iykyk
• realistic fiction: again something to cry about. i liked “Butter” by Erin Jade Lange and “My Sister’s Keeper” by Jodi Picoult for example.
