In therapy today, I unpacked A LOT, and was finally able to admit that I have a lot of unprocessed grief from the death of my grandma and the family circumstances at that time (9 years ago).
I’m looking for any and all books that touch on grief. If you’ve been in my shoes, what books helped you? If you’ve experienced grief in general, what books helped you? I’m open to essays, fiction, and non-fiction. Thank you in advance!

If you’re open to poetry, this is a memoir of grief & loss in poems: {{Still Here by Jenny Smith}} She shares the unexpected loss of her brother & the aftermath, both in an essay & through short poems over the following year.
