Hey guys, please recommend me some very cozy books that are set in a small sleepy seaside town or set in a place like the Shire from lotr or both. Something that provides escapism, somewhat like the Ghibli movies. Books that have a slow wholesome peaceful summer vibe. Books that feel like a warm hug, makes you feel like everything is gonna be alright.
(Also, movie and TV show recs of this 👆 type are also welcome.)

[The Hands of the Emperor](https://app.thestorygraph.com/books/af2bba9c-8f41-4a3e-b87a-8532a44ccb67) by Victoria Goddard! Not sure if it has a summer vibe, but parts of it take place on the island the main character grew up on. It’s so *so* good, and definitely feels like a warm hug.
Also, kinda a different vibe, but [Sal and Gabi Break the Universe](https://app.thestorygraph.com/books/e2983156-c0df-4398-9a26-773e9f49b369) by Carlos Hernandez is a middle grade book that I always describe as the most heartwarming book I’ve ever read, so I definitely recommend giving it a go 🙂
As for a TV show, have you watched the show Hilda?
