Humans still read books that are a thousand years old, which I find amazing. But modern books seem less… transcendent? I’m sure someone will read Bram Stoker a hundred years from now, but what about all the paranormal books? The Prince and Leviathan are still read today, but there are tons of political books by now, and I doubt any of them will have the same staying power.
Can you think of any books that were published since 2000 that you believe will still be widely read in the next century?
