I’m trying to find a book that I was told about a long long time ago. I swear I was told it was written by Dostoevsky but can’t seem to find it. In a nutshell its about a man who has many ideas but never does anything about them and therefore feels robbed and is miserable. An example I remember being told was he’s upset with his boss and has an idea of what he is going to say to his boss, plays it over and over in his head and then is too afraid and doesn’t say anything. The story goes on and on with examples like this and I remember the person telling me that it was the author trying to tell the world to not sit in thought but to try things. Even if they don’t work out, you’ve tried. Action, not thinking. Please help if this sounds familiar.
