Hi all, I really love The Shadow of the Wind (the whole Cemetery of Forgotten Books, really) and 2666 by Bolano. I am looking for more books in which the MC undergoes a search for a mysterious, enigmatic figure, or books in which the novel themselves seeks to discover the figure.
Would prefer to avoid SF if possible.
