Looking for true stories that give insight to other walks of life. I enjoy books about the LGBTQ+ experience, neurodivergence, or any cultures outside the cis-het neurotypical western Caucasian experience.
Not currently looking for stories about experiences of war or abuse, generally looking for uplifting or insightful stories into other walks of life.
Bonus points if the audiobook is narrated by the author, stories are so authentic to me when told from the first hand view.
