Mine used to be *Rebecca* by Daphne du Maurier (which is still my all time favorite) and *The Hobbit*, but now it is 100% *Legends and Lattes*. The low stakes, the hilarious dialogue, the cozy atmosphere… I absolutely love it. And it’s rare to find a female character I feel that I can relate to like Viv, which was even more surprising when I realized the author was a man! What is your go-to comfort read, and what makes it so special to you?

Sherlock Holmes apocrypha.
This sounds crazy but an old Nora Robert’s romance/kind of fantasy trilogy about some women trying to find magic keys.
*Legends and Lattes* is delightful. It’s trite to call it a warm hug of a book but that’s exactly what it is.
Mine is probably Anne of Green Gables. Itˋs such a nice and sweet story that makes me smile.
Oh my goodness- Hobbit is all time fave- and Legends and Lattes is SUCH a comfort read. I am loving cozy fantasy, bring it on.
Have you read the second one? I have it; but I haven’t read it yet.
Outlaws of Sherwood by Robin McKinley
Harry Potter, the Hobbit and Howl’s Moving Castle:)
The Harry Potter series, it reminds me of my childhood especially when new books were released and my dad would take my and my sister to get it at midnight, and then the excitement of finally finding out what happens next in the story. Now me and my older sister both have our own copies and do a re-read every couple of years or so
Mine are:
– The Banished Lands by John Gwynne
– Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir
– The Hobbit & The Lord of the Rings
