I love horror so much but not a fan of gothic horror and old/classic horror (sorry if this isn’t the correct term) like Stephen King’s stuff, Dracula, and stuff like that. I love modern horror movies, reading creepypastas, and especially loved reading the Creepover series when I was a kid. Would there be any books targeted towards young adults/adults with that sort of vibe?
Newer horror books I’ve read include:
1. My Best Friend’s Exorcism: Was really fun but wasn’t creepy/scary enough.
2. Things Have Gotten Worse Since We Last Spoke: Was a hit and miss. I enjoyed the first short story but didn’t really like the others.
3. Junji Ito mangas: I LOVE JUNJI ITO’S WORK. But here I’m looking for novels instead of mangas.
