So I picked this book up Saturday and finished it Sunday. I’ve never done something like that before, this book is really well done.
Likes- I love the creepy tension that’s built up throughout the whole book, the way the main character is straight up a sociopath with no empathy for others(hate when similar characters are softened by the author), the supernatural twists, the killer is a really great character, love how in some ways the killer is more human than the sociopath
Dislikes- the mother character was believable but there was something in her that just didn’t feel right for me, (maybe I’m a sicko) I wanted to see more scenes of the mc or the killer being disturbing, the metaphors while good where a little obvious(not a bad thing, technically)
Overall this book is a solid 7 or 8/10 for me. It’s a really cool and creepy concept done in a solid and earnest way
