To be honest, it’s been a long time since I’ve read a book. Probably like a decade a go. Back then, I was into reading free fictional e-books like The Selection, Hunger Games series, The Kite Runner, The Godfather, or Kafka on the Shore.

Right now, I’m just reading manhwas (Korean webcomics) about overpowered men in a world where dungeons are constantly appearing or reincarnated women seeking revenge or wanting to be chill in their next life. It’s always the same plot and I wish to get back into reading books for a change.

I wanted to read books again but I don’t know where to start. If you could suggest something that’s interesting, uplifting, funny, motivational, or educational (finance and investing), I’d greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

My go to rec for people who want to get into reading is Holes by Louis Sachar, because it appeals to all ages, has really short chapters, and is super engaging!

    2. Reading Ring by Koji Suzuki helped get me back into reading after several years of neglecting the hobby. I just didn’t come across anything captivating the way I had found reading to be as a child.

    3. Last year I loved two very quirky novels:

The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune
      and
Remarkably Bright Creatures (can’t think of the author at the moment.)

Both are very accessible, delightful and memorable; I think they’d both be good “reentry” points.

      Good luck!
