I have this book stuck in my head but I can’t remember the name at all and it’s really stumping me. I don’t know any names or anything, and I’m hoping someone can help?
The main character is a woman, she’s either a detective or a medium, I think she works with the police force, but not for them. She lives in an apartment attached to a business or a home, I can’t remember, but it’s like behind the main building or house. She comes in contact with a grim reaper or death, and he pops up multiple times and she’s like slowly falling in love with him. It specifically mentions his eyes having swirls in them and him being very reluctant to get into a relationship with her because of the complications of what he does
