Hello everyone, I have a question for you. I used the word ”problem” in the title, yet I don’t even know if it is an actual problem but here it goes: I have serious difficulties when it comes to character depictions in a book. In a sense, I just replace the character with the body & face of someone I know(or a random face I have seen on the internet on a movie or internet, etc) instead of creating an actual character that fits the depiction in my head instead. I just wanted to ask if this is a common thing, and if it is not what would you suggest for overcoming it? My imagination works perfectly fine when it comes to enviorenmental depictions but as for characters, it just hits a barrier :/
