My (20M) girlfriend (18F) turns 19 next month. She is an absolute book lover and I was thinking of getting her a really nice book with like lines highlighted and decorated. I just want to show my appreciation for her.

She’s into romantic books and also reads smut so yeah that’s that.. and she likes the twisted series also but she’s got those books and twisted aren’t her top favourite books.

I was wondering if there’s a really nice book that is less known but amazing and like has romantic moments and has some hot scenes also while also having a good story and cute lines.

Any further context, she’s a bio med student I’m an aeronautical engineering major, we study in the same University and been dating for like 2 months now after 3 months of talking stage

    1. Makes more sense to get her a Kindle Unlimited subscription. That way she can read as many romance (or erotica) books as she wants.

You can decorate a nice card for her instead.

    2. Check The Folio Society. You can get some beautiful volumes of all kinds of books from them. Pricey, but they are keepsakes.

    3. If she likes Steampunk, vampires, and werewolves, I recommend Soulless by Gail Carriger. It’s a mystery, it gets steamy at parts, has a badass female protagonist, and has sequels you can get her for other occasions in the future if you want to. Highly recommend.

    4. They are kind of popular, so she might have already read them. But Ali Hazelwood is a neuroscientist who has some pretty cute rom-com books. Lots of them have STEM and Women in Science themes, like The Love Hypothesis.

I work at a bookstore and here are some popular ones right now: icebreaker, magnolia parks, love hypothesis, it ends with us , lotus

    6. Just an idea: If she has a goodreads or a story graph try to ask her to look at it, because then you can make sure you aren’t getting her a book she has already read! And maybe you can get something off her “To Be Read” list
