My reading is a mindless, fun, fluffy hobby. I don’t particularly like books with extensive world building, or anything too beautifully written. I appreciate beautiful writing, but it’s not what I want to be reading when I’m trying to unwind. I often describe the books I like as beach reads or like the rom coms of books. Some of my favorite authors are Sarah Dessen, Judy Blume, and Jennifer Niven. My favorite series is actually Pretty Little Liars. I’ve been reading 100+ books per year for about 12ish years now and I’m kinda running out of books to read. I’d really love a longer series to read, but just any recommendations are helpful.
Also enjoy murder mysteries, and drug/mental illness content. I think I’m kinda looking for books you loved in high school/middle school.
