First of all, I’m sorry for asking such a general question. I just finished ‘Everything Matters’ (Ron Currie Jr) and honestly I am still processing it. My brother had recommended it, but didn’t tell me what it was about so I went into it completely blind.
This is kind of rare for me but I just don’t know how I feel about it. It was a slow burn for me and it took me a little while to get into the story, even though I really like the structure and writing style. Now that I’ve finished, it feels like the story was pretty bittersweet—more bitter than sweet for Junior, but the final act was so interesting. It’s a novel that might be more rewarding to read-read now that I know what’s happening.
