I haven’t read books in almost 15 years. I noticed that I watch a lot of YouTube shorts, and my attention span to media is not where i want to be. Not sure if it’s relevant, but I was diagnosed with adhd as an adult. Looking back my school years, I would either struggle to finish a book or stay up all night reading a particular book. Anyway, I want to get back to reading. I think I enjoyed fictions out of all categories. I would like to avoid any horror, books that are too difficult to read or books that have too many characters to keep track. If it’s a series, I’d like it to be completed.
Here are some books that i enjoyed in no particular order.
– The road
– Harry potter series
– Blindness
– A million little pieces
– Lord of the flies
– Night
– The education of little tree
– Great Gatsby
– My sweet orange tree
– Sherlock Holmes
– Animal farm
– Devotion of suspect x
Edit: I don’t necessarily need a high school books. Open to anything. I’m reading the phantom tollbooth based on another thread on “books everyone should read once”.
