I love romance, but most times I see it in fiction it ends up taking me out of the immersion. It ends up extremely cheesy and melodramatic or just plainly immature. But I know there are good books out there, I just don’t want to dig among them all. If I try, I know It will take a while for me to be in the mood again, as I am now.
So suggest me a romance, it doesn0t matter what else, but something that feels human and realistic. It could be a classical romance full of sonnets, or the most casual of hookups, but I want to read it and say “yes, those two could be real”. No matter the genre, the POV or anything.
Sorry for the long barraging pseudo-rant, and thanks in advance!
