HSS’s films are slow and reflective yet also occassionally funny and whimsical. His style is characterized by unbroken scenes and long dialogues. The stories are often set in cafés and local diners where characters engage in drunken conversations about everything and nothing at all.
i dont know how this translates to books, but are there any titles/authors with a style similar to this filmmaker’s?
