I love book series but it drives me nuts to wait between books, so I normally try to wait until series are complete before I start them. (I’ve recently broken that for 3 different series and it’s driving me bananas!!) I love fantasy/dystopias/post-apocalyptic type books, but have branched out some before. I really enjoyed the Inheritance Cycle, The Hunger Games, The Divergent Series, Game of Thrones (will that next book EVER be published?!?!?!?). I’ve also read the Outlander series and recently finished what’s been published of the A Court of Thorns and Roses series. ACOTAR is definitely more romance-y than I anticipated and romance isn’t my preferred genre. The writing also isn’t the best, but the storyline was compelling enough that I read them all and intend to finish whatever other books may come out of it. I wouldn’t have recommended it to myself though if that makes sense haha
