    1. I’ve read a fair bit of Child, Baldacci, and Connelly probably other one offs too in mystery/thriller.

The Bosch novels are decent kind of traditional police mysteries detective books.

Baldacci is all over the place. I remember enjoying the Camel Club books, I liked other series too but can’t remember names. I didn’t love memory man series but they’re still readable. They’re easy reading thriller/mystery books.

Lee Child has Reacher whom I really enjoyed they’re also just thriller easy reading books. They get a bit repetitive but if you want a homeless guy wondering around dolling out vigilante justice and drinking coffee…

    2. James Ellroy’s LA confidential series. They are brilliant crime noir and evoke the dark underbelly of of 20th century America brilliantly.

    3. Repulsive-Dot553 on

Girl with the Dragon Tattoo – by Stieg Larsson (Millenium Trilogy)

The Hypnotist – by Lars Keplar (The Nightmare by Keplat also excellent)

    4. My top-tier Psychological Suspense/Mysteries (with decent prose, exceptional characters, and mind-blowing twists):

*Gone Girl, Mystic River, Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Sharp Objects, Shutter Island, Dark Places, Pretty Girls, The Silent Patient, The Woman in the Window, The Girl on the Train.*
