I like to highlight and make notes as I read, and it is so hard to do on the left side of books, when you’re at the beginning and the right side is much thicker. That side is always extra flimsy or keeps trying to close, especially with big books. Do you have any suggestions for tools that could help? Any other nifty reading tools you’d like to share are welcome too! Thank you!

Levenger (and probably Amazon etc nowadays) sells book openers for this purpose (levenger has lots of nice stuff in general imo)
I use a bookpage holder thing to hold the pages open/flat? I have a wooden one that’s like a stand and a portable plastic clip on one!
