I‘ve only read new adult/romance books thus far and I really want to try other genres. I‘m interested in getting into fantasy and I also like crime/mystery-related things. My problem is my attention span is not great, so I‘d love something that isn‘t too „long“ or takes a lot of time to e.g. world build. Besides books, I‘m also interested in getting into graphic novels. I’d be thankful for any suggestions. 🙂

I’ve been enjoying the book Legends and Lattes. It’s not very long and has been a very pleasant and easy read!
Try the Dresden Files by Jim Butcher – a wizard detective series to meet all your crime/fantasy/mystery needs!
The Hunted by Gabriel Bergmoser is a good crime read as well.
Any book by Matthew Reilly might also be good. They’re designed to be fast paced thrill rides. I can’t say they’re the best books in the world but they’re definitely fun!
