I have never been an avid reader but discovered audio books and have been really enjoying listening during long drives and walks. I just finished Deception Point by Dan Brown which I really enjoyed.
Now I’m having a hard time finding a new book to read (or rather listen to).
Here is a list of the books I finished and I really enjoyed.
Tom Clancy: True Faith and Allegiance – Mark Greany
I believe this was my first ever audiobook. It took me a while to get through but really enjoyed it. I’ve finished some other Tom Clancy books after this one. But they weren’t as good as this one. Not sure why exactly.
The Martian – Andy Weir
I finished the book before I watch the movie and I’m glad I did. There were so much fun details in the book which were left out of the movie.
Bobiverse series – Dennis E. Taylor
The first in this series was the most enjoyable for me. Though the remaining series didn’t disappoint either.
Off to Be the Wizard – Scott Meyer
I liked it, especially with the amusing narration of the audiobook. I finished the whole series but would only really recommend this first one.
Project Hail Mary – Andy Weir
At the moment this is my all time favorite book.
Such a compelling story with a couple of fun twists. I really appreciated the plausibility of everything.
Deception Point – Dan Brown
I just finished this one and as I already said, really enjoyed it. Not sure if I should continue other Dan Brown books.
I think what I enjoy is plausible Science Fiction with a thrilling story? Who knows…

The only true audiobook I’ve listened to is Differently Morphous by Yahtzee Crowshaw. It absorbed me, if you’re into absurdist humour and strange things. It’s comedy, but well written
The Murderbot series by Martha Wells has a good narrator, and although I have only read an eBook version of World War Z by Max Brooks (and would recommend it), I have heard that the audiobook version is also excellent.
Adrian Tchaikovsky: the Children of Time.
Leviathan Wakes by James S. A. Corey – first novel in the Expanse series
