So yeah. Basically, Kavalier & Clay has been on my reading list for a few years now. I finally picked it up and currently at 12% in.
Although I’m not a native English speaker, I’ve been reading exclusively in English for years. However, I’m finding this book quite challenging. The sentences are overly long and often seem to interrupt themselves. Chabon’s vocabulary is so vast that I keep finding myself looking up words.
I constantly lose focus and can not read more than a few pages at a time without stopping. Any tips for helping me get through? I really like the story so far and want to see it through.

No advice for you, but I couldn’t stand this book. I muddled through just to personally find the plot lacking. It wasnt worth it for me. If you give up I wouldn’t blame you. Good luck!
