*Sing Backwards and Weep* by Mark Lanegan and *Some New Kind of Kick* by Kid Congo Powers are both excellent
Not a memoir, but Our Band Could Be Your Life is great.
Ani DiFranco – no walls and a recurring dream
Coal Black Mornings by Brett Anderson is brilliant! It read like a fiction book, he’s such a good writer. His follow-up, Afternoons With The Blinds Drawn, deals more with the days of Suede’s fame, but I liked it a little bit less.
