    Hi
I have recently started reading books, and therefor my level isn’t quite high yet. I am interested in the influential classics, but some of them are pretty hard to read for a beginner like me. I read 1984 which was an okay level, and currently reading the picture of Dorian gray, which in some aspects is quite hard, but I can bare with it.
What are some classics that is easily readable for a beginner? I bought the odyssey by homer, but it is way too hard for me to read, especially the George Chapman translation from 1616.
I would like some recommendations from you experienced folks:)
I’ve been looking at Fjodor Dostojevskij’s books, are they suited for beginner readers? And in general what translations are best for beginners?

    Thank you in advance:)
