Hi! I recently started getting back into reading and was looking for book recommendations like Song Of Achilles or Heaven Officials Blessing! I really love slow burn romance and enjoy a good “not meant to be together but are together anyways” type tropes.
I’m mainly kinda just looking for leads like Hua Cheng (protective/obsessive in a good way) or Achilles (willing to risk everything for his lover), I am able to get more invested in books like that but if you guys have a book that isn’t entirely similar/has some similar themes I’d love to hear them!! I’m open to any kind of love (straight, mlm, flf) and I’m also okay with whether it’s a light novel, manhwa, manga, donghua, etc. so there isn’t any limitation there either!
I’ll say that I have read Circe (Written by the same person as SoA) and have read grandmaster of demonic cultivation and scum villian self savings system (written by the same person as HOB) and I enjoy SVSS but couldn’t get super into GMoDC but I’m willing to try reading it again if it heavily recommended!
Please help!! If you have a book that you seriously love that doesn’t match any of this please still recommend and I’ll look into it!
