I’m an amateur writer and mystery is a genre I’ve long wanted to tackle, but I feel a bit… unconfident. I think having a guide on writing mysteries might be useful to break it down. For what it’s worth, my ideas for mystery usually have elements of horror or light supernatural aspects.
I already own Stephen King’s *On Writing*.
