I’m about to read Stoner by John Williams per a suggestion from a friend but I was curious what you guys might recommend? I’ve read No Longer Human by Osamu Dazai and I thought it was good but maybe a little too on the depressing side to make me feel even a lick of hope. I enjoyed Gillian Flynn’s Sharp Objects and Kafka’s The Metamorphosis. I was considering Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine as well. I’d really like to read a book that deals with themes of gay loneliness but I don’t know of any that fit that description. Kind of a weird question but I appreciate any suggestions
