    Books about the Wild West that aren’t slow/boring?

    Fiction & non-fiction suggestions welcome.

    I’m currently watching Deadwood, and I absolutely love it. I want to read more books about the Wild West, but some of the ones I have tried are painfully boring. Pls help! Thanks ❤️

      Lonesome Dove by Larry McMurtry

      And, as mentioned, True Grit by Charles Portis (this one is hard to put down, I read it in one sitting the first time).
