Haven’t read a book in a while and chose this after hearing good things. I really enjoyed it! I had a few issues with character choices early on but by the end, I realised that it was all intentional. It effectively built dread and was quite creepy throughout. I was impressed at how it played with reader expectations, even the elements that were predictable ended up having a good amount of depth. If you read it, what do you think?
Also, I believe this has been adapted to film. Is it worth a watch? I reckon this would be particularly difficult to put to screen considering how important the protagonist’s perspective is.
