I’ve just started reading again after ~3 years of not reading at all. My mom got me a book for xmas and I can’t put it down, but there’s a slight problem. It’s pretty “R-rated”. The book is Fourth Wing. It’s my perfect cup of tea, the only issue is, I hate smut. I was hoping someone could recommend a good book that has the same fantasy elements but a little more PG. I’m fine with kissing, in fact I love a good soft romance. Just something subtle. Other books that i’ve loved just a little more are the Wings of Fire series, Goose Girl (the second book wasn’t as good), Uglies, The Hunger Games, and more. Goose Girl was one of those books that goes against all book rules, the kind where it’s just so mind blowing that you have to recover after finishing it. Series are fun, but unless it’s a really good one, I’m looking for solos. I don’t mind swearing, it’s the smut that’s unbearable to me. Can anyone save me?
