I just double checked the protagonist’s age at the start of the book (19 according to Wikipedia but hopefully that’s close enough to 20s?) because it’s been a while since I read it but The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath is the most iconic book you’ll find dealing with these themes
Sorrow and Bliss by Meg Mason is a more recent option if you’re looking for something more contemporary.
