Hello! I (19f) am new to reading, and I am sort of having trouble finding new books that actually interest me. I LOVED ransom riggs’ Miss Peregrine series, absolutely obsessed over it for a while. Adored the Hunger Games of course, and also read things such as I’m Glad My Mom Died by Jeanette McCurdy, Inside Out & Back Again by Thanhha Lai, and The Mercies by Kiran Millwood Hargrave. I just finished & loved Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens. I’ve realized themes of girlhood, naturalism, and tragedy are what interest me the most, but nothing that’s just sad for the sake of being sad the entire time. I’m sort of picky, lol. If anyone thinks of anything please LMK! 🫶🫶
