I don’t care if the revenge is ruining their life somehow, sending them to jail, or murder. I would prefer if the abuse is in the book for it to be non-graphic or at the very least done tastefully & not for shock value. All I need is the catharsis of the abuser getting “what is coming to them”. (Disclaimer: I don’t condone real-life violence. Like I said, this is merely for catharsis).
The only genres I don’t want to include are non-fiction, YA, or westerns.
