I want to read some classics, my only criteria is that they must not be miserable stories. What I mean is, I don’t want to read anything too dark, depressing, and overall leaving you with too much negative emotion (for example I heard The Grapes of Wrath is majorly depressing). I guess want positive, funny, adventurous stories – do they exist in the classics world? I don’t mind overly wordy stuff. What do you recommend and why?
