I am desperate for book recommendations! I love horror, but I like a pretty niche subgenre of horror. I’m not even sure what it’s called. I love anything horror that doesn’t take itself too seriously. I recently finished the Tales From the Gas Station series by Jack Townsend and absolutely loved it! I could not stop laughing. It was funny but also had some very good horror moments as well. I’ve read a few other great authors that write similar novels (Grady Hendrix, Jason Pargin, Christopher Moore, etc). I prefer books that are humorous and are a part of a larger series that builds upon the world and has deep lore that I could dive into. Hopefully this explains what I’m looking for.
