So, lately, my brother has been developing an interest for art and I was thinking about gifting him an art book. His favourite painting is “The Wanderer Above The Sea Of Clouds” by Caspar David Friedrich, so I’ve been searching for a book that contains that painting and a description of it.
I’ve come across “The Art Book” by the Phaidon Editors, as it matches the kind of book I’m looking for but, as I can’t find any index for it (I don’t know wether it contains that specific painting), I was wondering about any other art books. The Art Book looks cool to me but still I want to know about any other candidates.
Actually, having that specific painting in it its a really cool plus but not a requirement!
