After a lot of consideration and research I have decided to tackle the wheel of time series. The consensus seems to be the last few books pre Brandon Sanderson are a slog but the end is well worth it. I’m in for the long haul and keen to see how it pans out but that got me thinking – I often hear people talk about books they gave up on but I am curious, what books were worth the slog? And why was it challenging?
