Lots of thoughts.
I think the most interesting thing to stand out to be though was how beautiful I found the last 10 or so pages. Yes, Humbert is a psychopath and yes he does things early on in the book that had me cringing (like drugging Lo) but his final passage from the ward really emphasized how much of a love story this was. I found the latter half of the book once he meets up with Lo as a 17 year old to be profoundly beautiful.
Am I wrong having that interpretation?
