I’m looking for novels about social media and the digital world, especially if they relate to digital labour (the idea that using social media is a form of work). Really interested in novels that are heavy on social media and it’s impact on the ways we live.
No non-fiction please!
Some novels I have already read:
Dave Eggers – The Circle
Dave Eggers – The Every
Nikesh Shukla – Meatspace
James Smythe – I Still Dream
James Smythe – No Harm Can Come to a Good Man
Jarett Kobek – I Hate the Internet
Jonathan Coe – Number 11
Jonathan Coe – The Terrible Privacy of Maxwell Sim
Olivia Sudjic – Sympathy
Tom McCarthy – Satin Island
Sam Byers – Perfidious Albion
Gary Shteyngart – Super Sad True
Love Story
If anyone has any great recommendations, that would be fantastic!
Thanks.
