(don’t worry) i had this thought when i came across a poem someone had posted called “the morning after i killed myself” and it got me to wondering are there any books about that. the main character kills themselves but their ghost still is “forced” to stay behind and see the after effects of their suicide.
think “the lovely bones” except instead of the character viewing the world after being killed, it’s the character after killing themselves.
