i’m so bad at finding books on my own.
i’m mainly looking for a book that leaves you happy at the end with a satisfied romance, yknow?
i recently read a novel about a lawyer leaving her corporation life and moving to a small town, she was resistant to the lifestyle but eventually found a group of friends, just as she was settling into her new lifestyle she was asked to help settle a case that could mean everything to a small town, at the same time she’s struggling to deal with her feelings towards her best friend. it was very nicely resolved and left me with such a warm feeling, and that’s exactly what i’m looking for!!
i was looking something *maybe* along the lines of ‘call me by your name’ as i just watched the movie but i’m not sure if that’s quite heartwarming.
long story short, a cute romance novel/series that has its trials and tribulations but eventually comes to an end all tied up with a bow :).
ive VERY much enjoyed marissa meyer and the emporium trilogy by claire legrande. i love their writing style, and the emporium trilogy had a very nice ending.
